Dr. Emma Kerr

Growing up in Washington State, Dr. Emma Kerr developed a lifelong love of horses, which inspired her to pursue a career in equine medicine. She earned a Bachelor's in Equine Science from Centenary University in New Jersey before receiving her veterinary degree and a Certificate in Veterinary Business and Management from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Prior to joining Evergreen Equine, Dr. Kerr completed a one-year internship at Vermont Large Animal Clinic, where she gained extensive experience in ambulatory equine medicine while managing a diverse caseload of medical, emergency, and surgical cases. Through this experience, she developed a strong foundation in equine practice and a passion for caring for horses across a variety of disciplines and stages of life. After completing her training on the East Coast, she was excited to return home to Washington and join EEVP, where she looks forward to partnering with clients to provide thoughtful, individualized care for their horses.

Outside of work, Dr. Kerr enjoys painting, horseback riding, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with her two cats, Dewey and Finn.
